Acknowledgement of Country

Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre Acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Djilang (Geelong), the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and thank them for gifting the venue its name, returning language to Country. Meaning ‘open our eyes to the hills’, once open, Nyaal Banyul will encourage visitors to the venue to look deeply and appreciate the landscapes and history of Wadawurrung Country.
