Acknowledgement of Country

Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Djilang (Geelong), the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We pay respects to their Elders past and present, and thank them for gifting the venue its name, returning language to Country. Meaning ‘open your eyes to the hills’, Nyaal Banyul encourages visitors to look deeply and appreciate the landscapes and history of Wadawurrung Country.
